Get Moving! By Erin Bevan

She looks like she is having entirely too much fun doing that, doesn’t she? Yeah, I thought so, too!

If the calendar hasn’t clued you in, or the fact that kids are out of school, then maybe the rising temperatures have. Summer is here. Eek! And for some of us that like to wear more layers than not, the middle of the year months can be a bit, well, warm.

Don’t have your bikini body yet? Yeah, well, neither do I, but have no fear. Exercise routines are here! If you plan on taking a vacation at the end of the summer, I may have something to help you feel more confident in your lack of layers. If you are taking a vacation tomorrow and you still aren’t donning your bikini bod, well, be proud of what God gave you!

Why should you exercise, other than for that hot bod? Exercise is proven to boost your mood (doesn’t the picture prove that?), boost energy, promote better sleep, and dare I say improve your romp in the sheets.

If you have a gym membership, here is a free 12-week AWESOME program. Jamie Eason is the most badest, bestest thing to hit the health and fitness industry ever. My personal opinion, obviously. Live Fit Trainer will have you looking and feeling great in 12 weeks.

Don’t have a gym membership? That’s okay. Grab a couple of dumbbells and try this one on for size. Bodybuilding.com has mastered the workout from the beginner to the advanced. I don’t work for them, but I love that website so much, maybe I should.

Have a great day everyone and get moving!

Erin Bevan was born and raised in Southwest Arkansas. She spent her teenage years working for her aunt at the local gas station flipping burgers and making milkshakes dreaming of the day when something better would come her way.

Fast forward ten years later, she found herself stuck inside an apartment in South Korea while her daughter went to preschool and her husband went to work. Alone and unable to speak the local language she turned to books for a friend. After reading a few hundred in such a short time, she decided to try her hand at writing one.

That first one sucked, but by the fifth and sixth book, Erin started to get the hang of this writing thing. Getting the first contract in her inbox was a dream come true. Now, with three babies at home, she squeezes in stories one word at a time, one sentence at a time, one day at a time. She’s a full time mom, a full time wife, with a little writer sprinkled in whenever she can get the chance.
